Our Story
NS Scholarships Trust was formed on 27 May 2024 with a simple, focused purpose: to help formerly orphaned children—whom we lovingly call "Angels"—flourish in their education and careers.
Founded with commitment, not just intention
The Trust was established by its Founders, late Shri Narinjan Singh Bajaj and Smt. Surinder Kaur Bajaj, who contributed a corpus of ₹1,00,00,000 (Rupees One Crore only) to build a stable foundation for scholarship support.
Our core objective is clear and unwavering: provide scholarships to selected students who are formerly orphaned children—whom we lovingly call "Angels" and wish to advance their careers—based on merit and/or need.
Built for transparent, fair support
From the beginning, the Trust deed sets a strong standard of governance and integrity. The Trustees are empowered to:
- Create and run a transparent and fair scholarship selection process
- Ensure funds are used only for the Trust's objectives, with no personal benefit
- Maintain proper financial records and conduct annual audits by a qualified auditor
- Governance that stays active and accountable
The Trust is designed to be actively managed—not symbolic. Trustees meet at least once every quarter to review and decide on activities, ensuring decisions stay grounded, timely, and responsible.
