Our Founders: A Life of Infinite Compassion & Seva

The NS Scholarships Trust was born from the generous hearts of Shri Narinjan Singh Bajaj and Smt. Surinder Kaur Bajaj. It stands as the enduring formalization of a lifetime of giving—founded with a dedicated corpus of ₹1 Crore, committed solely to lighting the path of education for Angels by giving them scholarships.

Their vision for this trust is specific and noble: to support marginalized students who possess the merit and will to succeed but lack the financial means. The trust ensures that education remains a right, not a privilege, helping deserving youth build careers and futures that would otherwise be out of reach.

Shri Narinjan Singh Bajaj and Smt. Surinder Kaur Bajaj made a profound choice that defines their legacy. They decided to distribute their entire accumulated wealth to the most needy, retaining only what was strictly necessary for their own bills and medical treatment.

On most days, Smt. Surinder Kaur Bajaj can be found listening to the stories of the underprivileged—the extremely poor and needy who come seeking aid. Whether it is a family needing a roof over their heads, a patient requiring urgent treatment, or a parent struggling to pay school fees, the founders have consistently stepped forward to help.

She also takes personal care to identify the most needy organizations dedicated to serving the most vulnerable, extending her support where it can create the deepest impact. More than an act of charity, she truly enjoys spending time among the most needy—listening, understanding, and serving with quiet compassion.
